OUR SCHOOL
Porto-Giese Language School has been a project and a dream accomplished between 2019 and 2022. Life took me back to my parents hometown, Palas de Rey (Galicia, Spain), and life took me out of my hometown in July 2022 when my husband found a job in The Netherlands.
My students are still in Palasde Rey, in school and in high school. Some have also started college and I am very proud of them because they worked hard and because I know they will be successful if they keep studying and focusing on their dreams. Some they want to be teachers, some they want to be veterinarians, some they want to be actors and actress, some they want to be doctors, some they want to be nurses, some they want to be carpenters, plumbers, electricians. I wish them all well and I hope they will be able to accomplish their dreams with tenacity and daily work.
I love languages and I have tried to pass my passion into my students. First I created a wonderful space with the help of one of my brothers and an engineer from my village. This was the beginning. It was a wonderful beginning and even if I am not physically there, I keep wonderful memories from all my students.
